are you kidding me no this is not good in any way do you even understand how bodies work

thor would get her fucking sternum crushed why would you shape armor in the shape of her boobs that’s not safe in any way at all and also just like male thor she should have her legs covered in protective armor

there is absolutely no logical reason for captain america to have her stomach exposed do you even realise that that is a very important part of your body to protect

i do not understand the iron woman costume like the armor is way too small how would she even fit in that how tiny is she that armor is the normal size of a womans body the only way this would work is if all that metal was actually a skintight catsuit

Tbh i hadn’t even noticed any faults in the designs coz they’re fucking awesome to look at, and I’m a girl saying this.
And its not like we’re really going to get this specific gender bend happen so it doesn’t even matter if they are ‘safe, accurate and practical’ as you seem to think they need to be.
They just look awesome, which makes them awesome drawings and i applaud the creator whoever they are.

It’s all fine and well that you don’t notice the faults in the design. But there are issues that do need to be addressed, and as well-done as these drawings are, it does not excuse the implications in the designs.

While I think the Iron Woman one is a bit nitpicky(I don’t think it looks too small at all), the issues with Thor and Captain America’s designs are rooted in sexism and misogyny in which the female is placed in costumes that would, in real life get her slaughtered whereas the male is put into more practical clothing. When gender-swapping the characters of a film that have very practical outfits, it is odd and jarring to see those costumes changed the second a woman wears it.

There’s nothing wrong with not caring about the safety or practicality of a costume in a fanart, but it is important to address the fact that the creator of these works, a man, thought it necessary to sexualize these women without any solid reasoning.

Ok i see your point, but do we even know if it was made by a man? It could be a female who thought they would look good like that.
